Hufflepuff Ariens have an extreme abundance of energy; however, the usual Hufflepuff tendency to work hard out of duty is modified by the Aries tendency to value play over work. Therefore, expect long periods of playfulness and seeming indolence punctuated by brief, manic bursts of industry. These Hufflepuffs may also be more ambitious and socially aggressive than average, making them clear leaders in their House. On her looks:
Hannah is a basic blonde haired, blue eyed, girl next door type of girl. Everything about her is relatively average - she's average height, and average weight. She's relatively curvy, but her clothing choices don't show off her assets the way most girls do. Puberty transformed the slightly chubby girl into a shapely young woman, however, a bit embarassed at the idea of boys looking at her body, Hannah prefers to wear sensible clothes. Her wardrobe is filled mostly with button down shirts, pants, and sweaters (none too tight, of course.) On the occasion that she feels like wearing a skirt, she has a few knee-length options. She has to be severely coaxed into wearing anything that could be considered revealing. She loves light colors, such as lavender or pink, and rarely wears dark colors - black and navy blue are saved for gloomy days! Although she consumes enough food to feed a small army, Hannah is blessed with a fast metabolism, and loves to walk and run around the grounds.

Hannah rarely ever wears makeup over her peachy complexion. Her naturally pink cheeks remain, and she is quick to blush over the slightest embarrassment or new situation. Sometimes she wears pink lip gloss (usually if she know she'll be seeing a cute boy), and, on very special occasions, some eyeshadow.



Ever since her hair was long enough, Hannah's mother fixed her hair into two pigtails. They eventually became Hannah's trademark, and she usually wears them to this day. She wonders if they are slightly babyish, but had been told by friends that they are fine. On special occasions, Hannah will leave her hair down, or curl it.




On food:
Hannah is a pig, to be quite blunt. She absolutely loves food, and will do almost anything to get it. Hannah doesn't understand girls who don't eat in order to maintain weight. If you're hungry, eat! (Hannah also doesn't understand how everyone doesn't have the same metabolism as her.)
She believes this stems from her older sister's habit of bribing her with chocolate when she was younger. She will always get seconds, and usually gets thirds. Hannah isn't against healthy food, but finds the unhealthy food a lot more enjoyable to eat.




On her family:
Hannah's mother (Bethany, a former Hufflepuff) and her father (Gerard, a former Ravenclaw) met during their years spent at Hogwarts. The two were Prefects, and both come from a long line of witches and wizards. Hannah has one older sister, Aurora. Aurora is a 22 year old mediwitch, and is engaged to her longtime boyfriend, Robert. Aurora also has blonde hair and blue eyes, but is 5'9, and has a much trimmer figure than Hannah does. Hannah's parents have a healthy, loving relationship - as do Robert and Aurora. Aurora is Hannah's idol, in every sense of the word. She strives to be like her, and often annoyed the hell out of Aurora when she was younger by following her everywhere and copying her every move. Aurora was a Prefect as well, and got close to perfect grades. Hannah breathed a huge sigh of relief when she received her Prefect letter August before 5th year. Although her sister is the proverbial wonder child of the family, Hannah loves her. And only resents her perfection slightly.


On her schoolwork:
Hannah is the queen of procrastination. And the queen of saying that she'll change, and start her paper earlier next time (and never following through, of course.) However, as many times as she's freaked out (a la 5th year, when she broke down crying in the middle of class because she thought she was too stupid to take her OWLs), she gets her work done, and gets decent grades - she wouldn't be a prefect if she wasn't smart! She just doesn't do very well under pressure, and since she puts everything off til the last minute, pressure is all she ever has. Being very grade concious, Hannah is always open to help from others on her assignments, and study partners are a plus! Although Hannah may get good grades, she is not the quickest with matters involving common sense. Because of this, and slight teasing from others, she doubts her own intelligence greatly, and works even harder at getting good grades.


On her friends:
Hannah's closest friends include Susan Bones, Megan Jones, and Ernie Macmillan. Susan and Hannah's opposing personalities balance one anothers quite well, and Hannah considers Susan a good secret keeper. On the other hand, while she is closer to Megan Jones, she is not as quick to tell Megan her secrets. Megan is louder, and more outgoing, and Hannah is always afraid she'll slip with her secrets. (Although Hannah secretly envies Megan's relationship with Seamus, and wishes she could be that at ease with the opposite sex.) Be that as it may, Hannah is extremely loyal, and would go to any lengths to make sure her friends are happy. Hannah and Ernie befriended one another during second year, when Hannah was looking for someone to trade chocolate frog cards with in the Common Room. The two became fast friends, and Hannah looks to Ernie for advice and the answers to all of lifes problems. She thinks he's one of the most intelligent wizards she's ever met, and values his opinion highly. However, she does wish he would loosen up slightly, and never passes up an opportunity to tease him.
Despite her beliefs second year that Harry was the heir of Slytherin (mostly because that's what Ernie thought), Hannah has a good relationship with the trio, and is a member of Dumbledore's Army. She is mostly nice to everyone, except most Slytherins. It's not that she's mean to them - she just does all she can to avoid them, because they scare and intimidate her greatly.


On life:
Hannah has a positive outlook on life, although, she is quite naive at heart. She is quick to believe most things that are told to her, however, she tends to be quite unsure of things. This sets her a bit on the edge, and she frequently "freaks out," which, occasionally leads to all out panic attacks. Few people outside her family and close friends know how to properly calm her down when this happens.


On love:
Hannah is very inexperienced when it comes to relationships. She's never had a boyfriend, and never been kissed before. She is (secretly) scared of the idea of being serious with someone. Because of this, while she is able to hold up flirtations with boys, she tends to shy away whenever the flirtation appears to be progressing into something else. This makes her appear slightly cold and standoffish to some members of the opposite sex who have tried pursuing her. For Hannah to make the first move in a romantic situation would be a huge step for her. Hannah doesn't know it, but what she needs is someone to aggressively pursue her and show her how to invest herself in a relationship. All in all, Hannah is confused about what she wants out of love. Recently, Gregory Goyle has been showing an interest in Hannah. At first apprehensive of his intentions, Hannah was scared, but because Ernie advised her that there was no fault in being nice, she has formed a slight friendship with the Slytherin. She refuses to believe his interest in her goes past friendship, however.
